*Payments are non-refundable
*Weather questions and concerns are addressed below
Mother Nature, she's.....unpredictable and we get it! From time to time the weather doesn't want to do what we want it to do when we want it to do it. We monitor the weather hours prior to your event and we like to stay in contact to ensure that the weather you see is the weather that we see from the weather stations. We know that weather in The Valley can and often is different mere blocks apart sometimes. If for whatever reason Mother Nature desires to be uncooperative we will reschedule your movie night for free, it's the right thing to do. You may reschedule your movie night (upon mutual agreement) within 90 days of your original movie night.
Weather that we are concerned with are Wind, Rain, Hail, Microbursts, Haboobs and similar. Wind is most often the biggest concern and we are looking for speeds less than 10mph. Although the screens are tethered down, the inflatable screen is far more susceptible to flexing in the wind than the tensioned screen however despite being tethered down, the screens will still move and your viewing experience will be degraded. We also don't want these gigantic wind sails flying around the neighborhood, the owner had a trampoline land in his pool once from a microburst, he didn't own a trampoline...
If there are freak weather changes at the last minute while we are en route or during the event, we will reschedule your event for free and you may reschedule your movie night (upon mutual agreement) within 90 days of your original movie night. In my opinion this is just good business and the right thing to do. As the equipment renter operator we reserve the right to call off the event at our discretion due to weather, the safety of the people attending and our equipment is paramount.
AZ Outdoor Cinema is a movie equipment rental business that is accompanied by a Cinematic Experience Engineer to protect the equipment and to ensure the equipment runs as it should so you have a wonderful evening! As such with the way that copyright laws are written, we are not able to obtain the licensing for you and you as the venue are responsible for obtaining the appropriate licensing. As the equipment vendor we do not require copies of your licensing. We know this probably seems a bit intimidating however we promise you that it's a simple and easy process. There are several companies that handle licensing for movie viewing, the main two are Swank Motion Pictures and Criterion Pictures. Viewing licenses can sometimes be free depending on the title and if not free it can often be affordable given the viewership that our setups cater to. Copyright law views anything that is not viewed on your personal property as a public performance and requires licensing. The format for these movie releases are typically on Blu-ray or DVD.
Should you have any questions about licensing, the best answers you will receive are direct from the source which means contacting Swank or Criterion directly by phone or email.

Irrigation/Sprinklers
In a lot of cases the show will be taking place in grass or in areas where irrigation is present. It is your responsibility to deactivate the irrigation/sprinklers for the entire time we are on property in order to protect our equipment. You assume all liability and responsibility for the damage caused to our equipment and its replacement should the irrigation engage and damage our equipment. Please do whatever is necessary and speak to whomever you need to in order to ensure the irrigation is off.
Lighting
It is highly recommended that you disable any local lighting from overhead lights or lights shining at or toward the screen. The reason we recommend this to give you the best show possible. Ambient light and light from security lights or parking lot lights will wash the image on the screen and it will be challenging to see dark screens and in some cases light scene as well. Ultimately we want you to have a great show and we will tweak screen placement as best as we can within reason.
Our policies and jazz are subject to change from time to time without notice. It should go without saying however here it is in writing to eliminate any confusion on the subject! Party on Garth!
